The Community

SEEDS has had an ongoing relationship with the people of several communities in Kenya for more than a decade. Our cultural immersion program provides the communities we work in with continued support on grass roots projects by means of volunteer service, donated supplies and cross-cultural relationships with Americans. The projects are designed and implemented by community leaders to help meet the needs of an ever-changing Kenyan society. These communities continually request the presence of our programs in order to ensure that their relationship with the changing world remains connected. They welcome SEEDS and our small groups to have a chance to be a part of their society that's apart from normal tourism - a truly mutually beneficial relationship.
