Saturday Trips for ages 7 and up
tba

SEEDS is part of the Stroubles Creek Watershed Initiative.

Since 1995, SEEDS has done informal monitoring and explorations along New River streams, especially Stroubles Creek.

The project teams up VT undergraduates with local K-12 age kids and everyone learns!

The program is limited to 10 participants each event.

Fee:
Free, but your charitable donations are always welcome!

On our trips you will do things that help you understandand hopefully enjoy and appreciate the land and water, and life around us. We'll learn by doing some activities used by environmental scientists. You'll learn about our natural heritage. You'll have fun! We'll be exploring what our impacts are on the land and water and who lives in our environment's "neighborhoods".

This program is co-listed as a public program of the Virginia Tech Biological Science Outreach Program.

Bad Weather Activities:
If we have unfavorable weather we will still plan to meet and do an indoor program with quick forays to the nearby creek, weather permitting.
