Our Exhibits

We feature a wide range of exhibits, including: live reptiles and fish, taxidermy specimens, a nature - themed library, a seasonal observation honeybee hive, chocolate and our global connections,  as well as a host of age - appropriate games and puzzles.

Community Outreach & Teacher Support

The SEEDS - Blacksburg Nature Center allows SEEDS teachers, interns, and college service learning students the opportunity to work on independent projects, class projects, and field studies with the organization. A goal is to do inspiring work that benefits the community.

Through the VT Department of Biological Sciences Outreach Program (VT SOuP), we offer nature-themed teaching kits, on loan to local teachers, and work with schools and home schooling groups on providing supplemental curriculum for your inquisitive students.
