VT SEEDS Officers ’08- ’09

 

President:  Robert Jacks, rjacks@vt.edu  – Rob is a senior in the Pamplin College of Business here at VT. 

His passion is to get business involved in environmental protection and progressive thinking.

 

Officer: Tracie Hundley, thundl87@vt.edu - Tracie is a senior studying Animal & Poultry Science and Biology.

She is a pre-vet student and has been an avid SEEDS volunteer and participant for four years.

Officer: Derek O’Dell, oudell@vt.edu - Derek is a senior Biology major and plans on going to graduate school to study veterinary medicine. 
He has been active in SEEDS since his Junior year partcipating in stream clean-ups and hikes.  Derek is also an officer of the VT Chess Club.

Officer: Rishi Chopra, rchopr87@vt.edu - Rishi is a senior in the College of Science here at VT. He is a biology and chemistry double major,who shows great interest in preserving the environment. Rishi has volunteered for SEEDS since his freshman year

on our out-of-school field trips for kids and for our after-school tutoring program.

 

Officer: Amanda Richardson, aeroo@vt.edu - Amanda is in her senior year at Virginia Tech within the College of Science.  First learning of SEEDS through an Ecology class, Amanda quickly proved to be an active member and dedicated leader. 


Getting involved…

  • Join the SEEDS listserv so you can get e-mails about our activities, meetings, and news of what’s going on.  E-mail rjacks@vt.edu if you’d like to join the listserv.
  • VT SEEDS is working closely with the Environmental Coalition at VT to help promote the EC’s goal of being a true coalition of organizations working together. The Environmental Coalition
  • Any organizations wishing to co-sponsor an event with VT SEEDS should contact Robert Jacks, rjacks@vt.edu
