Field Camp Itinerary
The SEEDS Adventure-Nauts
28Jul - 1Aug For ages 10-12, 9AM-4PM*

We'll explore and learn about Salt Pond Mountain and the Appalachian Trail vicinity as a Sky Island. Sky islands are places that have unique environments due to their altitude when compared to their lower elevation surroundings. We'll explore the forest, Shrinking Mountain Lake, and even find caves on Salt Pond Mountain. We'll map and trace the flow of water right to the Cascades and the New River.

Monday
Why is a creek around here called "Poverty Creek", yet there's a diverse community of amphibians along the way to the New River. What's a "community"?
